I’m Dawn Truelsen and GreenLily is my business where I offer Landscape Design, Aesthetic Pruning & Landscape and Estate Management services.

I retired from California State University, Fresno in 2022 after 21 years of service. My last position there was in the Division of Technology Services where I was the User Experience Architect in the Enterprise Applications and Information Systems group. Look me up on LinkedIn for details.

But now I work fully for myself where I can enjoy being outside pruning in people’s gardens, designing landscapes, consulting on landscape and home orchard maintenance or giving seminars and lectures on all sorts of pruning and landscaping topics.

Here’s a snapshot of my background:

• I am a Fresno County Master Gardener (2007),
• I have a certificate in Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley Extension (2014) which is accredited as a Masters Degree toward licensing,
• I have passed two of the landscape architecture licensing exams, LARE Sections I & II (2015 & 2016),
• I am a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (2008),
• I studied Aesthetic Pruning at Merritt College in Oakland, completing the Aesthetic Pruning coursework as well as three years of the Hands-On Pruning program (2014),
• I am a member of the Aesthetic Pruners Association (2017)
